Capral's Smart Energy Savings Program: Public Commitment

Capral's Bremer Park site has recently completed a Level 2 Energy Audit in compliance with the Queensland Government's Smart Energy Saving Programs (SESP) under the Clean Energy Act 2008. As a result, the following energy saving measures were identified and have been included in energy saving plans for Bremer Park:

Energy Efficiency

Installation of time automation to switch off the plant lightings automatically.

Energy Conservation

Signage on all lighting and HVAC controls telling staff to turn off when leaving room.

Energy Management

1. Mandatory staff training in energy efficiency specific to the site through toolbox and site induction
2. Ensure all process and non-process equipment sales and service technicians are consulted on higher efficiency upgrades to plant and equipment.
