What is an EPD?
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified document that reports the environmental impacts of a product across its lifecycle using internationally recognised standards.
EPDs provide transparent, comparable environmental information including embodied carbon and other lifecycle indicators, enabling designers and specifiers to make informed product selections.
Capral’s EPDs have been developed in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 and are independently verified through the EPD Australasia programme.

Declare – CAPRAL ALUMINIUM DOORS SYSTEMS [CPL-0002]
Capral aluminium Door systems are designed, manufactured and tested in Australia to meet Australian standards and conditions. This label covers the Urban Residential, Urban Plus Designer, AGS Commercial, Artisan Architectural and Futureline Thermally broken range of doors. In particular Hinged and Pivot doors, Folding doors and Sliding doors. When specified as part of a responsible building design Capral aluminium Door systems can contribute to occupant well-being, passive heating and cooling, natural lighting and ventilation. Capral aluminium Door systems can be used in various applications, including commercial and residential buildings and are compatible with a wide variety of framing and operable window systems from the Capral range. Extrusion coating includes anodising and Powder Coating. As glazing and lock hardware may vary for each system, they have not been included in the ingredient list.

Capral aluminium framing systems are designed, manufactured, and tested in Australia to meet Australian standards and conditions. This label covers the Urban Residential, Urban Plus Designer, AGS Commercial, Artisan Architectural and Futureline Thermally broken range of framing suites. Capral aluminium framing systems are designed to provide excellent structural performance and weathering. Capral aluminium framing systems can contribute to occupant well-being, passive heating, and natural lighting when specified as part of a responsible building design. Capral aluminium framing systems can be used in various applications, including commercial and residential buildings and are compatible with various operable window and door systems from the Capral range. Extrusion coating includes Anodising and Powder Coating. As glazing may vary for each system, glass has not been included in the ingredient list.
