It sets forth requirements for identifying and assessing risks, reducing potential hazards, and improving overall safety performance. ISO 45001 encourages organisations to improve their health and safety practices continually. It emphasises strong worker participation, requiring employers to consult with their workforce and ensure their input in decision-making. To be certified, Capral must demonstrate that its OHSMS meets the standard’s requirements, which include a commitment to continual improvement, a process for hazard identification and risk assessment, involvement of top management, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
