Product Testing

Capral maintains an in-house team of designers and engineers that represents one of the most experienced product development groups in the industry. This capability combined with NATA accredited test facilities means Capral window and door systems are subjected to rigorous testing to ensure they meet and exceed structural, weather and operational performance requirements.

Capral’s extensive metropolitan and regional distribution network services a wide range of industries including residential and commercial construction, transport, marine and general engineering. Regional distribution centres support a network of conveniently located trade centres operating throughout metropolitan and regional Australia.

Software Support

V6 Estimator application provides fabricators with a comprehensive tool for the quotation and estimation of Capral’s Building Systems product suite. The integrated database enables development of 3D designs, DXF output to assist in window schedules creations in CAD applications, along with 3 dimensional outputs for “virtual windows” presentations (VRML). The application also allows fabricators to save time when estimating for new projects, review complete bill of material including components, glass, labour and sundry items, along with the creation of cutting lists with glass sizes which optimise extrusion cutting. Capral’s in-house database development and support ensures fabricators receive regular updates and are kept up to date with enhancements to Capral’s product suite.

QuoCut Professional is an application designed to help customers calculate costings and quotations for the manufacture of Capral’s Residential Product suite. The tool provides precise information needed to generate cutting sheets to assist with manufacture. Furthermore, the tool is highly configurable and incorporates reporting functionality to assist with manufacturing analysis.
