‘Made Right Here’ With Capral – Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter
    1. The promoter is Capral Aluminium Limited (ABN 78 004 213 692), of 71 Ashburn Road, Bundamba, QLD, 4304, Australia (“Promoter”)
    2. The promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on Monday 16th March and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Friday 1st May 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Eligibility and Participation
    1. Entry to the promotion is open to existing Capral Account Customers who are over the age of 18 are authorised to represent their business (such a customer being an “Eligible Customer”).
    2. Eligible Customers include Customers with an active trading account
    3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related entities are ineligible to enter.
    4. Participation in the promotion for the Grand Prize is open to all Eligible Customers share an eligible social media post during the promotion period and tell us why Australian Made extrusions from Capral matter to the entrant’s business.
  3. How to Enter
    1. This promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. To enter, an eligible business must during the Promotion Period:
      • Publish a post on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram
      • Include a photo of their team, site or project
      • Tag Capral’s official social media account for the relevant platform/s
      • Refer to their partnership with Capral and describe why Australian Made Extrusions from Capral matter to your business
      • Include the hashtags #AustralianMade #MadeRightHere #CraftedWithCapral
  4. Prizes
    1. Grand Prize: 4 winning businesses will receive:
      • One fully catered food truck lunch at the winner’s nominated Australian business site during Australian Made Week 2026 (scheduled in consultation with Capral) (final numbers, menu/options and value to be determined in Capral’s discretion).
      • One Capral merchandise pack for each team members present at the site on the day of the food truck event (final quantities in Capral’s discretion).
      • The total prize value will vary depending on location and team size but will not exceed AUD $10,000 for all prizes. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or otherwise.
  5. Judging and Winner Notification
    1. To be eligible for selection as a possible winner, entries must meet the How to Enter criteria (see above) and be posted by Eligible Customers within the Promotion Period
    2. Eligible entries will be judged by a panel of 3 members of the Promoter’s marketing team based on the quality and relevance of the response including how clearly the post explains why Australian Made extrusions from Capral matter to the entrant’s business [40%], creativity [25%] and overall presentation, including originality and effective use of imagery [20%] and overall impact of the post [20%] . The 4 entries with the highest score as determined by the judges will win a Grand Prize. Judging will take place on Monday 11th May 2026 (“Judging Date”) at the Promoter’s Huntingwood offices. In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-judged and the entry the highest scope for quality and relevant will be selected. If still tied, the judges will determine the winner based on overall merit. The decision of the judges is in their absolute discretion and is final and binding with no correspondence to be entered into. Winners will be notified in writing by text message and email within five (5) working days of the judging. Notification will be sent to your Capral Customer Account contact details.
    3. Winners’ names (business and individual if posted from their account) will be published in the May issue of Capral’s Off the Press Email Newsletter
  6. Prize Conditions
    1. The food truck event must take place at a suitable Australian business location of the winner with appropriate site access and safety conditions (to be confirmed in consultation with the Promoter) and on a date agreed to by Capral and the winner (Event Date). Once the Event Date is confirmed by Capral the event will proceed rain, hail or shine (except in case of extreme weather events as determined by the Promoter, in which case Promotor may cancel the event or reschedule it in its discretion).
    2. The food truck event must take place during Australian Made Week 18th to 24th May 2025 or will be forfeited.
    3. The winner is responsible for ensuring site access, required permissions and compliance with workplace safety requirements
    4. Capral reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the above conditions are not met and/or if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
  7. Content use
    1. By entering the promotion, entrants grant Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to repost, share and use submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes across all digital and print channels.
    2. Entrants warrant that they have permission to use any images posted and that all individuals featured have consented to publication.
    3. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.capral.com.au/privacy-policy/
  8. General Conditions
    1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion.
    2. The promotion is administered by the Promoter. If any complaint or dispute arises in connection with the promotion, an Eligible Customer must write to the Promoter setting out full details of its complaint or dispute (“Claim”). The Promoter will review the Claim and use reasonable endeavours to resolve the Claim within fifteen (15) working days of receiving the Claim. If the Claim is not resolved within fifteen (15) working days of the Promoter receiving the Claim, the Promoter will determine how the Claim is resolved in its sole discretion.
    3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
    4. The winner must provide the Promotor with confirmation of the suitability of its site for the food truck event, including access arrangements and confirmation that it holds public liability insurance in respect of the site.
    5. The Promoter may amend the Terms and Conditions of this promotion at any time in its discretion and the amended terms and conditions apply from the date of amendment.
    6. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants in connection with this promotion including but not limited to the delivery, issue and use of any prize.
    7. By entering the promotion, each entrant is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions which are binding on the Eligible Customer and the Promoter.
